TRAIN AT DESERT EDGE

Two trains are at the edge of Nevada's Black Rock Desert playa in this landscape image. Approximately three miles distant, the "string of pearls" like train is moving at the usual 70 mph. Autorack rail cars reflect the sunlight. I have always been amazed by the scale this kind of scene gives to the vast open spaces of the desert.
